So, last year I entered a competition being run by @travellingmanuk.bsky.social and it was great fun. The idea of taking random paints, model and basing to make something really got my creativity flowing. Anyway, they're doing another one and my kit just arrived! #nerdlings

custom crew minis. Well, when I say custom I mean we're getting them for that purpose, they're not custom to us they're just off the store 3d printed figures.
The more I play Stargrave the more I want to just write my own content, rules and encounters. It's really firing my imagination.

Got my 40k Blood Angels off the shelf today, been about a year since I did anything with them, still need a bunch of work on them. Hard to find motivation when they've had a bunch of new releases last year and what I've got doesn't help too well with their latest codex.

Tried out #Stargrave with a friend using a mishmash of models from all over. Was a surprisingly fun time with just enough rules to satisfy without being overly clunky. Next up were going to look at doing their coop campaign, Hope Eternal.

Just finished painting some models from a WePrintMiniatures mystery box and the demon alien one was one I picked out. Great to just have a go with some random things instead of the stress of having to learn a game or rules like I've had before. Might be good to use for a skirmish game of some kind.
