Painted everything with a cheap craft ‘oxide red’ then drybrushed them with Trollslayer Orange, and washed the rock areas with Carroburg Crimson. Bottom ten are done, top ten just have the oxide red on them.
Basing for 20 rad-roaches.
#stargravehopeternal scenario 7 is on the planet Cinder: a blasted nuclear wasteland.
Used a greenstuffworld tool to make the triple-hexes.

Today I managed to paint the first batch of my converted bikers based on stargrave scavengers (1 and 2). I also got a new camera so my pictures might improve a bit, but I am still learning how to use it properly 😊

Beta (cyborg captain) activates Temporary Upgrade: Burrowing before the game (=ignore all terrain).
Everyone moves up. Sparks fails to activate a drone.

Captain Beta - cyborg. Carrying a +1 dmg rapid fire, heavy armour, hand weapon & grenades. Powers: Energy Shield, Power Spike, Toxic Claws, Restructure Body & Temporary Upgrade. She moves pretty quickly so will be handling security: getting to good firing positions and then lasering as many of the locals as possible.
1st mate Sparks - Tekkie. Also bringing his rapid fire, heavy armour and a hand weapon (his trusty, and very blood-stained wrench). Powers: holographic wall, target designation, drone, EMP and heal. Again, bringing the big gun to brass up the locals. Will use Target Designation if any of the big bugs show up so the crew can work together to take them down. Might use HoloWall if he doesn’t have a good shot, to help us direct the enemy or help us escape. Or kite a bug with his drone!
Pathfinders Rilla and Karl. Carbines, hand weapons, light armour and grenades. Quick on their feet, reasonable shots and they have both frag and smoke grenades. Never amazing, but always useful, these two.
5N1PR sniper robot. Carbine, light armour and head weapon. Our best shot. I must get him a better rifle if I find one. Only his head is the robot. He pushes wires down into severed necks and takes control of the body. He likes doing headshots, understandably.
