Finally, after few years I've updated my profile photo π

Awesome news! Thanks! π
So far I prefer VS Code as I've tried Claude Code (through VS Code and Copilot π
) and Copilot CLI - options unrelated to the IDE seems to be faster.
I mean, Claude Code or Codex have different architecture and they are faster, but it's also related to Copilot CLI.
What are your thoughts?
I'm a co-author if the really nice repository to work with #ai using #copilot at #vscode for teams. It's like spec-driven development with human-in-the-loop at the each step. My favourite approach when working on the huge, enterprise projects.

Open question for everyone using #bsky - do you still use #x X ( #twitter Twitter) or you don't anymore?
I currently use only BSky but not sure if I should re-post everything there to maximise reach. Actually I don't like the policy of X so I didn't do that. π€
What's your opinion?
To be honest what I can observe is that when I migrate from pure MD-like approach to XML-like in .md files you can actually use less text to describe something.
The structure of a #prompt is self-explanatory for modern #llm models. π
XML-like approach might be a little bit context-heavy. But hey, results are so much better with such structured approach. No matter if you work with #copilot in #vscode, #llm in general or apps like #heyalice - it works great.
Recently I've been experimenting a lot π¨βπ» with different ways of creating customisations for Copilot, HeyAlice app, and interactions with LLMs in general (system prompts, prompts).
The final conclusion π― is - XML-like tags are π― clear winner.
#copilot #vscode #context #anthropic #openai #ai
Opus 4.6 from #anthropic is really good at #copilot and #vscode. I've been testing it since the launch. π
Now I'm waiting for the GPT-5.3-Codex from #openai, I'm really curious how they will compare. π€
That's nice!
I've found myself writing such instruction on my own more times than I would expect. I just experiment a lot with different ideas recently.
Here's the link to this #project #repository : github.com/ikcode-dev/c...
Working on the next things related with such jump-start prompts. π
Stay tuned!
If you are into #copilot and #vscode, you might not know that I work on my copilot-kit repository. It's just been updated with really nice prompt to generate single custom instruction, works nicely for both greenfield and legacy apps.

What a fortnight it has been. A lot of stuff is happening when it comes to "work", a lot is happening when it comes to my YouTube and further experimenting with different #copilot and #vscode features.
So much happened:
- GPT-5.2 Preview available in GH Copilot π₯
- v1.107 of VS Code π
Another thing that greatly improves my outcomes are #okr OKRs. I've almost finished John Doerr's "Measure What Matters" - it's brilliant. OKRs are wonderful.
I work on #ikcode brand together with my wife (thank you!), and we started to utilise #okr to stay more focused and what really matters. β‘πͺ
More deliverables are going to improve and enhance my future productions for my #youtube channel #ikcode. π₯
New topics related to #vscode and #copilot are coming soon.
Busy half of the Sunday is almost done! π¨βπ»π
As usual I was working on some new ideas and improvements to my workflow with #vscode and #copilot.
The first public deliverable is the new #backendengineer agent for #copilot:
- github.com/ikcode-dev/c...
Until the end of 5 December Opus 4.5 will be at a promotional price in #copilot #vscode #agentmode - 1 premium request. After that price will change - 3 premium requests.
If you want to know more definitely watch the video from the first message in this thread. π₯
#claudeopus #anthropic
Yesterday we've posted new video covering #vscode #copilot and the new model we can FINALLY use in the #agentmode - Claude Opus 4.5 #claudeopus
Previously Opus models were available only in the ask mode - not that useful, at least to me. So it's kinda revolutionary update! π

I've recorded new video where I share few of my prompts that I use every day in #vscode #copilot as a #seniordev / #principaldev
Definitely worth to take a look if you are into #copilot:

Many, very interesting topics coming up so stay tuned. π
Nice! Thanks β€οΈ
Their blog entry about Opus 4.5 - github.blog/changelog/20...
Remember to try this out in the #vscode and #copilot! π
Ha! I'm amazed how well Claude Opus 4.5 works in #vscode #copilot. π€© Remember to try it out because there is a promo right now - Claude Opus 4.5 costs only 1 premium request in #copilot.
What is better, for few days Opus 4.5 is finally available in the #copilot #agentmode - fantastic news! β€οΈ
Of course I have more initiatives, in them you can group "projects", and then tasks. I must admit this is really nice.
Probably the best part of the #linear is how they pursue good #ux and overall #productivity for users. I love all the keyboard shortcuts - makes things really faster.
Some of my core "initiatives" I use in my Linear.
I have so many different ideas. π§
Before I used #linear to handle all my important #projects, I often ended with working on something one day, to drop the idea completely the next day. Then I started working on the next idea, which I quickly abandoned again.
Now I can #focus and DELIVER. π
Finally, as #softwareengineer I updated my "private" #macbook pro M1 to the MacOS 26 Tahoe. I was scared a little bit, but zero problems so far.
What I must admit is that #apple is really good into UI/UX, I love the change and feeling of the new OS version.
Also, I found the "phone" app useful π
Finally, I plan to really boost and develop this repository. After some testing of another #codingagents and #codeeditors I know that I'm going to stay with #vscode and #copilot for quite some time.
Beside of that I always feel deep β₯οΈ for #zed, so sometimes I'm going to use it too. π
