I had to look up what a Roly-Poly was after hearing UK's entry this year. But just assumed it was made the same as a jelly/swiss roll. Had no idea it was steamed!

Across the pond we have a different version called a Jelly Roll. You bake the sponge, roll it without filling so it cools in the proper shape, and then carefully unroll to add the jam.

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.
