A sketch portrait of the dinosaur that *was* Asiatyrannus, but may now be reclassified as a juvenile Tabrbosauris - a close relative of T.rex.

So apparently Asiatyrannus has been reclassified as a juvenile Tarbosaurus, making my illustration from last year not exactly wrong, but certainly misnamed.

Reminder for the weekend people, I've got some more original, one of a kind, unique, precious drawings up on eBay, Tharg, Hulk, Spidey, bBtman, Thing and a Witch

My daft black spaniel with his tongue hanging out in, after running around like it’s the best thing ever. Lots of hazel trees are bursting into leaf, including the tree that is growing in an arch along the ground

I was trying take pictures of wildflowers & the dog photobombed it, as he’s fond of doing

A bank of bluebells & a single white one amongst the grass that smelt amazing

A mass of Hawthorne flowers that also smelt as amazing as the aforementioned bluebells

Bonus fungi (no idea what type) that covered half of the circumference of the trunk. It’s all lumpy & bumpy & brown & green on top, underneath it’s a creamy colour & less lumpy. It’s probably been there since last autumn & not pictured are two more at the base of the trunk.

A very large red ladybird on a new fence post. I didn’t get a chance to count the spots.

More observations… I love spring as there’s so much to see & there’s a burst of colour after the grey of winter

In amongst the grass is a very small bright pink sweet pea looking flower - I think it’s a native wild sweet pea but I’m not sure. Some of the hairy leaves have been munched on & there may be some insects on some of the other leaves

Multiple small white flower with four petals with tiny thread-like stripes on a long stem amongst the grass, possibly part of the cabbage family though I’m not sure but it looks a bit like the one that wildflower hour have posted, so that’s what I’m going by until I treat myself to a wildflower book.

Amongst the grass are multiple small white flowers (no idea of their name) & some red dead nettle (I think…).

Nope. No idea. A very large pointed leaf plant with crinkly edges & at the top is a bunch of teeny tiny white flowers, some yet to open up.

I am not interested in being a person on Instagram, doing collaborative posts with people or filming myself talking to the camera. I want to be a person who fucks off away from the noise and works hard and writes better and better books for the rest of his life and then dies. Why is that not ok?
