A huge thank you to all organisers, volunteers, presenters, poster contributors, and participants for making #EOU26 such a great conference! 🐦
Enjoy the rest of your time in Gdańsk, and have a safe journey home—no matter how far you’re travelling!
Yesterday, I presented my internship project at @eoufledglings.bsky.social where I looked what explains variations in lay dates in great tits. Many thanks to @dornitholges.bsky.social for supporting my poster with a travel grant! #EOU26 #ornithology
We have a new record 🚨 the warm month of march in the Netherlands had its effect on the first laying date of the Great tits! Breaking the record by two days the first egg date this year is 21st March. One blue tit went even beyond that and noted a first egg date on 19th of march! #breedingseason2026
I’m catching up on an old issue of Lifecycle and found this fascinating article on a Great tit’s recovery from a nasty case of avian pox. Would be interesting to know if infection completely cleared or still transmissible #DiseaseEcology #Ornithology
🦎 Funded 4-year PhD position on Lizard Evolutionary Ecology in our lab at UCLouvain (Belgium)! Apply before 9 March! jobs.uclouvain.be/Personnelsci...
