It’s already been a week since #EOU2025! Fun week meeting and chatting cool bird science & geeking out at the cool tech! Presented another poster made from my tent in Bulgaria. 😅 Even got work done on the 14hr train journey, 🌱 but France took my Leatherman; rookie error not checking my field pack! 🥲

So delighted to have presented my Master’s thesis project on tracing the geographic origins of behavioural variation in Common Reed Warblers using genomic data. Huge thanks to @bou.org.uk and @dornitholges.bsky.social for helping make this possible!

I had the chance to present how contrasting #environments drive #circadian pre-breeding #migration patterns in #GPS tracked northern #pintails across the #Eurasian flyway, revealing their #plasticity through steep photoperiod gradients 🌚
