Posts by Drifter Dynasty 🌵 WISHLIST ON STEAM

FE9 was my introduction to the series! I felt that your personal skills fit the modern template quite well. Just my two cents, but I think an infographic would be more accessible for this sort of topic.

You're very welcome! Anecdotally, IV and XI feature the most variety in foreign languages. IX is the punniest though!

Save 10% on All Hail the Orb on Steam All Hail The Orb is a short, quirky pixel-art incremental game about powering a mysterious orb, summoning cultists, exploring a dungeon and slowly unlocking automation as devotion builds. The tone is ...

Hai yall, been away a bit but for a good reason, i made ALL the art for this game, just me and a handful of really nice people worked hard to make it and it just released!

If you like incremental/idles with goofy artstyle, give it a look!

Absolutely! Just remember that video games are complex pieces of software. For what it's worth, this documentation doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Recategorizing could help you filter out what to keep.

#Gamedev friends that've released a game made with #Godot on Steam with a macOS version -- did you create a paid Apple developer account or did you use the default ad-hoc signing option? If you used ad-hoc, did launching the game raise any warnings or is Steam automatically trusted?

Day 98 should have been a "merge" of the git logo and an under-construction sign. 😎

Fantastic idea injecting worldbuilding through multiple languages! The Dragon Quest series does this to great effect, so I recommend checking out some of the dialogue in those games for inspiration.

I’m introducing some Irish language phrases into Dark Crescent, though there’s tweaking to be done with the font file to get the lettering to look as it should. All phrases will be short and followed with an immediate translation.

Hey!
I'm Nico.

You might know me for my black and white illustrations (like what I did for VX-Underground or other cyber security people) or my work on games such as Wednesdays, There is no game 2 or soon, Knuckle Paradise.

Well, I'm looking for work!

Day 7: Added a gradient and outline to the movement tiles. You can now see tiles behind buildings! A simple camera tween is the cherry on top.

You're very welcome! I hope many more have an opportunity to learn about your story of persistence and dedication to the art form. At the very least, we all have Star Spark to look forward to!

Thanks for outlining an approach! During my undergraduate studies, I learned some Maya. That was years ago, so I figured I might as well return to the fundamentals while switching over to Blender. Your low-poly art has inspired me to head in that direction!

While it's exciting to see the growin' roster, a lil' plannin' goes a long way! During your most recent interview, I was intrigued by your project organization via Trello. I reckon these bullet points provide glimpses into the task cards.

This week on #StarSpark I...

- made save data parsing more dynamic
- reassessed the existing skills
- made a few character specific skills
- got Omen's sprite in game (thanks @kaishido.bsky.social 💪)

Still plenty to do, but it's getting there!

As a developer returning to 3D modeling, thanks for the retrospective! If you have any Blender low-poly resources, feel free to share.

This glass cup was one of my first models when I was learning Blender

I lost the original .blend file :(

So the topology is horribly high poly because the modifiers were already applied

The signpost gag has been re-added 😁, and an enemy. I can customize their behavior much more easily now.

The code refactor is basically done. All the main components were rebuilt and I'm very happy with it now. ^^

Thanks for the recognition! I'm just warmin' up though. The wonderful world of 3D is full of surprises and thrills, as you know.

Well, frankly, this speed ain't too tough to come by with the best cheerleading squad of you and @jeremyjackson.bsky.social! I don't take these encouraging comments for granted. Y'all are incredible folks, through and through.

Honestly, this demonstrates your diligence and discipline as much as these daily devlogs! #Moonshell_Island has an awe-inspiring cohesion as a result. That being said, I hope you've been recovering and recharging well!

Ah, one of the many fruits of prudence! "Forever" is the sweetest, but I figure "until something breaks" is as good a dessert in this ruthless craft.

Seems pretty darn robust, Sam! I'm really enjoying the polish of this sprint.

Glad you got a kick out of this first iteration! I'll smooth out the camera movement moving forward, but there'll still be "swinging" during the brawls.
