Update on the face rig. It can now be generated from any rigify face metarig. You just need to adjust some actions by tweaking some keyframes and you are good to go. CTRL bones can be moved anywhere. #b3d #blender #rigify youtu.be/l1PzAq_FLX0
You can add so much cool features to the default human metarig using the post generation script and a bit of knowledge in rigify types. It adapts your additions to any body type you can thing of thanks to this. #b3d #rigify #3drigging #blender

Nice! I tried to stay away from LLM stuff while coding, but it was super useful to check the syntax of my post generation scripts in rigify 😁 Btw maybe you can borrow from rigify's ui code to fix the pole orientation issue. Or use a "fake FK pole" parented to the upperarm to snap the IK pole to. 🤔

Tifa Face rig test.
I tried making a decent face rig using as few deformation bones as possible. I decided to use this Tifa model (which is from a mobile game) because it has less than 30 bones for the face (including the left and right sides).
