We present one of the world’s longest climate records: 1,200 years of peak cherry blossom dates in Kyoto.
The researcher who maintained it, Prof. Yasuyuki Aono, sadly passed away last year.

Furthermore, since the publication of Govindasamy and Caldeira significant improvements have been made in both the estimation of the climate sensitivity of CO2, as well as general model capabilities.
I would strongly recommend to work with a climate scientist on corrections before resubmitting. ❤️😃
After reading this paper by @lowbacca.bsky.social I must oppose a publication in the current state.
The core value of 1.8% reduction of solar radiation to offset a doubling in CO2 is not supported by the cited source. Govindasamy and Caldeira estimate that a "shielding of ~1.7%" would suffice. (1/2)
Please elaborate your decision.
