I keep forgetting to change my address on the HMRC portal after I moved. Cause it feels complicated and I can't find the right options. Well, guess what? The tax man found me anyway. I just got a letter from them at my new address 🀣🀣🀣

I sorted out my garage earlier and stumbled upon my old Canon 600D. It hasn't been used in at least 10 years. I think it deserves an outdoors trip soon, once I sort out a batter charger, and probably a new battery as well.

Now I have to do a scan I don't need to, in a completely different part of the body than what hurts... it's ridiculous! When she started Googling it and click on the first website that popped up I knew I'm there for nothing....

Had a "fantastic" experience at the GP today. She kept saying "interesting" after every symptom, then she Googled something, then she said she had someone this morning with what she thinks it's the same diagnostic but with complete different symptoms... great... Just great...

Living Like a Local In Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia - The World in My Pocket It’s 7am and I’m wide awake. For some reason, this time I wasn’t able to shift the jet lag at all on this trip, but I don’t mind as the pain of waking up

This morning I found myself reading this article I wrote last year. Halfway through and I have tears in my eyes and feel an immense emptiness in my heart because I miss Nova Scotia so much.

What to Eat in Pisa For a Memorable Foodie Experience – Traditional Pisan Dishes - The World in My Pocket After spending quite some time in the city, I decided to put together this foodie guide on what to eat in Pisa, focusing on typical Pisan dishes that I love

The first article from my trip to Pisa is out - and it's all about that traditional Tuscan food I tried. What will you try first?

Mentally I'm still here, on this bridge in Pisa, enjoying my pistachio and amarena gelato.

It happened so fast, all I saw was this big thing flying towards me. It hit very hard and I felt lucky it didn't go through. To be fair, it could have been debris from the road as well that the truck moved when it went over as they do works there at night and there are cones on the right hand side.

My first scary moment behind the wheel... something fell of a truck and smashed into my windscreen. It happened in less than a second at 70mph. I saw it coming and felt the adrenaline rushing in, but had no time to react. My windscreen is now totaled and needs replacing. Grateful for the insurance!

Discover Lucca - a pretty medieval town in Tuscany. Did you know here you will find an olive garden on top of a tower? Or a perfectly oval square? Or an intact medieval wall surrounding the town?

I went overboard with shopping in Italy. So much that I had two extra hand luggage. I #travel small backpack only. Used a few tricks and I'm now on board with all 3, with just a fiver spent. I would say ask me how, but some secrets are not to be told. 🫣😬

Ah, that giggle I couldn't help keeping in, when, whilst enjoying my lunch at a small restaurant in Italy, the diners next to me ordered two lattes and received two glasses of milk. The confusion on their face was priceless. 🀣

Follow up from my previous post. I ordered the spinach and ricotta ravioli cooked in a wild boar ragu, and the off the menu tripe. It was the best meal I had so far on this trip to Italy.

I found a gem of a restaurant: hand written menu, happy welcoming owner who knows the patrons by name, fully booked. I only got one hour before the later reservations arrive, but I bet it's going to be a very delicious hour!

My flight departs in 3 hours. Maybe I should start packing?

This was on the airport premises, on a small road that goes into the car rentals. Absolutely no traffic other than him. I wish I took a photo of his truck, as it was company branded. He was so angry, screaming at us to f* off several times. When we were crossing he kept creeping forward on us.

On my way home, I was walking with two colleagues towards the car park. At some point we had to cross a small road. Tiny. A truck cut our way and almost run as over on the crossing. As we went round and entered the car park the driver of the truck got off and started shouting profanities at us. WTF!

I overpaid my mortgage for the first time, and I feel like such a grown up. Quite proud of all the hard work I've been doing for my amazing clients, that led to this step. It wasn't a lot, but that little bit reduced my term by 4 months and over 3K in interest.

I've never seen #snowdrops in the UK. Until yesterday, when, walking back from the gym through the park, I stumbled upon an entire field of them. 😍

My DNA results just came back and they are fascinating! For one, I was so right. Secondly, I'm baffled on the second highest region I seem to be from, with over 20%. I did not expect that!
