I love plenty of questionable (at best) things. This one I just wasn’t engaged enough with what the story was to get over not liking the way it was written.

I picked up DaVinci Code out of curiosity because people were talking about it and I knew a movie was coming. I think I got halfway into chapter 2 before I put it down and never picked it up again.

Haha thanks. Yeah, Dana’s a bit of a mess. She’s having a bad week. Injured by cops while walking past a protest they were attacking, getting cited for rioting for the same incident, losing her job because of the riot charge, and then drunkenly hitting on her ex. Not her week.

What kills me if the pull quote about prescribing it to teenagers. It is fully banned in the UK, thanks in large part to the Daily Mail, for only one group of teens: trans kids.

But you have so many options: You can pay monthly, weekly, or daily! It’s convenient. Really.

The first book I sought out, got back issues of, and then eagerly awaiting when I could pick up the next was the 90s Gen 13 series. I’d grabbed number 7 off the shelf at the grocery store. Jim Lee DV8 cover. I eventually got 3-6 when I could. Bought all of the minis and one shots I could, too.
