I just got my little Janome back from the spa and tried some 50wt, looked good. So I started actually quilting a test table runner, with a new needle and some Superior 40wt and had this happen. She really wanted to go back to the spa! #quiltsky

Some day, my electric, height adjustable FlexiSpot desk will be my sew/quilt table. It will work for my lighter-weight domestic sewing machines. I had a Pfaff that would probably knock it over though. Currently using both an Ikea table top on Ikea legs set to 28", and the dining table! #QuiltSky

There's days I just drag the ironing board over to my sewing chair and sit. But definitely take rest breaks and save your back! A really good chair helps so much (why yes, boss, the work chair you assigned to me for work-from-home status is very helpful! At my-uh workstation!).

I've been rage quilting for some time now! Got rid of a big glass top desk, then realized how useful it was for painting protest banners. I'm back to laying cardboard on the dining table. #RESIST
