As I came across this paper, I was reminded of our previous discussion on the ward regarding whether plasma exchange is superior to IVIG. In which clinical scenarios your team prefers to use PLEX? I‘m curious.

How to cancel the 19th amendment the easy way: I learned yesterday that the GOP is trying to create law that allows you to vote only if your legal name matches your birth certificate name. This means millions of married women will have their voting rights suppressed.

Influenza is awful! Second child in 10 days on ECMO. Tonight, an all-female team performed the cannulation. Thanks to all of you! I'm sooo proud of you! #TeamUKM This is possible because many strong women fought for us. Let's keep it up and take good care for our daughters! #PedsICU

An honour to speak at #SWAAC #ELSO #AbuDhabi on when to put an infant on #ECMO.
Neuro injury concerns delay ECMO initiation and then deterioration leads to loss of cerebral autoregulation.
Use ECMO to support the patient and not as a rescue therapy when 👶 post-arrest or in multi-organ-failure.

We use alveofact and have no issues. I don't like the applicator, you have to make an additional movement with your thumb. But I know that there are some people who love it. I think its cheaper than the classical lisa catheter. #Neosky #NICUverse
