Lords-and-Ladies (also known as Arum maculatum or Cuckoo Pint) growing amidst the grass and other wild plants at the side of a country lane. Its yellow pitcher, tinged with pink, seems decidedly alien in this setting.

Came across this fine specimen of Lords-and-Ladies (also known as Arum maculatum or Cuckoo Pint) on my evening walk with the dog this evening. Always feels like such an exotic plant to find on a Welsh roadside #photography #nature #wildflowerhour #flowers #conwy #wales

The deep yellow trumpets of Cowslip (Primula veris) sit clustered atop a perfectly straight stem, amidst the wild meadow grasses and ground cover, like a group of tannoy speakers blaring out the message that spring has arrived.

Got them! Although I did think it was strange that there is no gate on that farmyard ๐Ÿค”

Very odd that the aeroplane pictured is not an airliner, but a French Breguet 460 "Vultur" Bomber ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ #obscure

No, @gregjenner.bsky.social, don't make peace with it. Do not go gentle into that good Championship. Rage, rage against the useless wankers in charge of our beloved team ๐Ÿคฌ

You and me both, my friend. We must have been really, really bad in a past life.

Let's be honest, we can do without the CL right now. Every game would be a collection of injuries waiting to happen and an energy-sapping distraction from the main task at hand. My fear tonight wasn't losing, it was extra time. Now I want Forest to win tomorrow, after ET and pens

Pretty much sums it up anyway, whether we've got someone in post or not ๐Ÿ˜•

I take it you're holding off from updating the Spurs one just yet. Mind you, the "Tudor Mug", as it will come to be known, could become a genuine collector's item ๐Ÿค”

Can you do with a special "put your finger here" zone, so we can all do that during games and see if we can think positive thoughts and manifest survival? At this point I think it's our only chance ๐Ÿ˜•

I hope you aren't including Simon and Garfunkel in that! ๐Ÿคจ

I suspect @lbflyawayhome.bsky.social cropped the image of the answers then flipped it 180ยฐ. In the original magazine "Answers" would have been the right way up and the answers upside down.

Too little, too late. The wages they pay are fine for the Championship.

ca.1915? Want to rethink that? Because I really don't think it was taken after June 28th, 1914.

I'm the same. Plus I look at how long chapters are. Hour long chapters are a turn off for me. I listen whilst I walk the dog, so 30 - 40 mins tops is my ideal

Really good film. He needs more of this. I hope this is a sign of things to come from his comms team, including on domestic issues too, not just the statesman stuff.

A bare tree stands in the foreground of a gloomy landscape, starkly monochrome in appearance. Other, similarly bare, trees stand in the cold behind it, with yet more barely visible in the murky distance.

Gloomy start to February in North Wales. But even in this stark and barren scene you can make out the buds at the tips of branches, sheltering the life that will soon burst forth and bring colour back to this ancient land. #nature #landscape #photography #phonephotography #mobilephotography #wales
