and I could tell it was just one of those nights~

I would #wander through the #purple #nightmare, sometimes lost to the #current, sometimes granted #leeway to cross between its corners.

On waking, the world was always grey, and I'd #express my pain in tears. Too much to bear, I longed to live inside.

#Purple eye shadow
we'd cake it on too
right up to the brows
the mascara was blue
jackets were fringed
fingernails bright green
bangles aplenty
left wrist, seventeen
heels were wedged
pant bottoms were belled
if standing too close
patchouli you'd smell

compounded daily
as our nightmares stacked high
piercing the indifferent sky
all the way
to the dark void
of the vast expanse of space
