Do you remember all the reasons they used to list for why the “evil countries” were evil growing up? All that propaganda to get Americans to “know” who the bad guys are. Let’s look at a short list of what made those countries “the bad guys”: They disappear their own citizens They fund an overwhelming force of secret police They prosecute politicians that disagree or even assassinate politicians who don’t agree Citizens who speak up face negative repercussions The right to assemble/ protest doesn’t exist/ is taken away They deny rights to gay/ trans citizens They deny rights to women citizens They deny rights to disabled citizens Their access to medical care is limited/ unaffordable Their access to education is limited/ below par They imprison a marginalized group they’ve decided are the scape goats The list goes on. Those were reasons we were taught OTHER countries were “bad” or “evil” Can someone explain to me why USofA achieving ALL OF THOSE POINTS WITHIN 6 MONTHS is not equivalently bad or evil?

It used to be our patriotic duty to condemn any country committing these acts. Now you’re trying to tell us it’s patriotic to support these same actions, actions of “bad countries,” cause it’s our own country doing it?

The weather is getting nicer outside. Which is a bittersweet time for me. The shift in the weather toward nice, is bad for my health. The humidity rising with the temperature, is also bad for my health. At least it’s beautiful out. #chronicillness

Why are people so willing to believe we mask out of political spite?
I masked well before Covid and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. It never had anything to do with politics, how has that narrative been pushed to the point we are in now?

This is the same experience I’ve had as someone who has been disabled since birth. The difference is, I don’t know what it’s like to not have those feelings.

As a disabled person- how much I cost monthly to keep myself alive scares me.

The less educated we are, the more isolated we are, the less likely we are to know things could be different/ better. Sigh

It’s not my fault, I fully intended to be productive this year. But they took my productive hour away from me yesterday.

I hate that my pattern recognition means I predicted all of this back in January of 2020… the number of people angry at me for having predicted this, who at the time said I was being an alarmist, is insane. I wish I had been wrong, so so badly.
