Looking for ways of reducing waste, particularly plastics or #packaging. Our eco-wrap #roll wrappers, devised by PEL, don't adhere to the surface of our materials. The part of the roll that could have otherwise been damaged by packing tapes is in good condition & OK for use
Rolls of material, like #tyvek or tissue paper are often bound with #packing tape. This ruins the leading edge of the roll, up to around 500mm, with the adhesive, or in trying to cut it off. Like the roll shown in the image above. This is often discarded as unusable.
How do you save between 1,500 and 3,500 sqm of materials being unnecessarily wasted per year? #Sustainability
Advent calendar it might not be, but we've opened the door to this & will be unwrapping it this week. A little underwhelming as a visual spectacle, (honestly, we get it) this bit of kit will help; Reduce carbon footprint of some products, speed up lead times and increase range of sizes. #boxes
