Iβm totally appreciating @accuquilt.bsky.socialβs blog post today. It strikes me as a direct response to the censorship of the AQS. I see you and appreciate you, Accuquilt!

My favorite is SAQA
I used to recycle hardcover readerβs digest books into smash books for fun gifts. This is one I just brought back home. I made it for my dad probably 20 years ago π it has photos of his grandkids in it. π₯²
Agreed β₯οΈ it fills my cup.
One of my favorite places to spent time is at Stitchin Post in Sisters Oregon. Iβm currently mentoring with Jean Wells. Yesterday was our group meet up and there was a beautiful display of Jeanβs quilts at the Twigs Gallery inside the store. Iβm always so inspired by her work. β₯οΈ
So so special β₯οΈ
Today I attended Art Quilt Maps with @valeriegoodwinart via the @quiltynook hosted by @zakfoster.quilts πΊοΈ obviously my first try but I like where itβs going and Iβm excited to add embellishments to personalize and finish this piece. π©βπ¨ Thanks for a wonderful workshop! #artquiltmaps
Pet portrait quilt of Enzo the Wonder Dog
Enzo the Wonder Dog! I created this pet portrait quilt for friends of their beautiful Enzo. Enzo was a parade pup and this photo was his trading card. Started this project in a class at Stitchin Post in Sisters Oregon with instructor June Jaeger. πΆ #quiltsky #petportraitquilt
A map of the convention center in Phoenix, Arizona. One of the rooms is marked β129AB: Sensory Relief Spaceβ
This is a screenshot of text from the QuiltCon website. It says: βNEW this year! QuiltCon Sensory Relief Space The new QuiltCon Sensory Relief Space will ensure that respect and compassion is provided to people with invisible disabilities at QuiltCon. As many as 1 in 4 individuals has some kind of sensory need, including military vets with PTSD, patients with Parkinsonβs disease, stroke patients, as well as autistic and other neurodivergent individuals. The QuiltCon Sensory Relief Space will be open at all hours to QuiltCon attendees and will be a quiet, dimly lit space with seating for decompressing from all of the stimuli of QuiltCon. Sensory bags, filled with items that can help lesson sensory overload, will be available for those who wish to utilize them.β
Whatβs this I see on the QuiltCon app map?? A sensory relief space! This is something I asked for in my post-show survey last year. Thank you, MQG ππ»

Iβve been enjoying the small community over at Quilty Nook with @zakfoster.bsky.social and Iβm really looking forward to this zoom class with Valerie Goodwin end of the month. Reviewing her book and gathering supplies! #quiltsky #quiltynook
Itβs SO amazing π€© I canβt wait to see Orca at QuiltCon! Congratulations π
Weβre going to have so much fun creating together!
I use it in place of sashiko hand quilting to quilt or add embellishments. No free motion, only straight stitching although it does have pressure control to assist in creating curves.
Maintenance on the Babylock Sashiko today before putting her right back to work. I absolutely love this machine β₯οΈ #quiltsky #babylocksashiko2
Buki π made as a gift using the technique I learned in class in Sisters Oregon with the amazing teacher, June Jaeger. #quiltsky
