Maybe worth reposting this very old tutorial on how I made the leaves.
Most of this was done with particles. The jets are particles, the lava splash are particles, the lava bobbles bursting are particles, the embers in the air are particles, and others. Hurray for particle shaders in the #godotengine
We made a conscious decision to help the player smash both enemies at the same time... Just for the fun.

Here's some progress on my C and #raylib pixel platformer. I've got a moving character with a smooth pixel-perfect camera on #LDtk levels. Even managed to add to squeezing and squashing to my character.

Alright... Took me a while to get here but I can convert an #LDtk map to a .c file and use it to draw multiple layers. Now to learn how to pixel-perfect scroll with #raylib. I love that I can implement some of the #LDtk features like random tile offset and redraw tiles in front of others.
