JAMA infographic: study on valacyclovir for Alzheimer's. Question: Can valacyclovir provide benefit? Conclusion: Not efficacious. Population: 66 women, 54 men, mean age 71.4. Intervention: 120 patients randomized to valacyclovir or placebo. Findings: Valacyclovir worsened cognition vs. placebo.
