Agents usually ask for sample pages with your query, most often the first five or ten pages. The golden advice is to be super aware of how your fifth and tenth pages end.

If only, lol

She's used to read a lot and would buy the biggest books she could find so they would last longer. She's not a reader anymore and has zero interest in understanding what goes into writing a book. She thinks it sounds like way too much work and can't grasp how I enjoy it.

Spoke to mom today, and I happened to mention that I've been working on my romantasy series a lot this week. She actually asked me how many books (PLURAL) I've completed this week. Completed over ONE WEEK! This is what I'm up against folks.
