Need for speed: advances in the era of high throughput interaction proteomics Abstract. Protein–protein interactions are central to virtually all biological processes, forming intricate networks that operate in a highly regulated man

2) Great collaborative work with @fabianfrommelt.bsky.social , @afossati.bsky.social and Ruedi Aebersold.

Yeah Gilles, and the Novartis team were fantastic collaboration partners. They performed the transporter assays for SLC39A8/ ZIP8 (Figure 6E). Showing that the identified interaction partners after knock-down directly affect transport activity of SLC39A8.

I've noticed this as well, though only on Massive, not in PRIDE. It doesn't make sense to me. I reject it during revisions and say that I can't evaluate the deposited data.

A tissue-specific atlas of protein–protein associations enables prioritization of candidate disease genes - Nature Biotechnology Protein–protein interactions specific to 11 individual tissues are presented in a comprehensive resource.

Our work on deriving protein-protein (functional) associations across different human tissues from proteomics data is now published. There is quite a lot in this paper, so I will just touch on a few highlights:

I came across this short, a bit entertaining clip about our SLC-interactome mapping: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjU5.... Stay tuned - we're in the final stages of wrapping up our paper.
