I heard you all like fake dirt!
Just some testing…
Bottom: VMS brown earth (not really convinced yet the stones fall off easily)
Middle: sand from a road outside
Top: sifted flower earth (should be nice under vegetation)

Also new: Kursk summer earth in my usual mix of dark and fresh mud

The paint under it? Oof, too bad -- but knowing your work it will turn out great anyway 😁

The paint effect totally works, very nice! On Soviet paint; there was undoubtedly a poisonous ingredient in it which made it red...
