Iran has got itself into a war it cannot win against a nuclear superpower. It should stop oppressing its citizens, disarm and choose a leader Donald approves of.
Apparently that's how this works.

Heard a great talk by a commercial airline pilot about safety regulations for pilots compared to surgeons.
I asked if older pilots get mad when younger pilots voice safety concerns because they think the only way to be a great pilot is to work while exhausted and he looked at me like I was crazy.
The invasion is such a master strategy that they are now developing a long range strike capability which they didn't have that we claim we invaded them to prevent from acquiring.
We claim that's one of the reasons. But it's ofc bullshit.
Free speech
Military historian Sir Antony Beevor on Times Radio on Trump-Putin:
"We should always distrust historical parallels, especially those from WW2...but there is a really very frightening echo of the betrayal of Czechoslovakia in 1938 and the idea that one can deal over the heads of a suffering nation"
How quickly Trump rolled over for me is proof that if he was POTUS in 2022 this war wouldn't have lasted 3 years.
He'd have just thrown Ukraine under a tank in exchange for a pat on the head.

Figure 1. Trends in Patients’ Global Rating of Hospitals Before and After Private Equity Acquisition

Universities stayed quiet as the admin targeted DEI & foreign aid, censored research, etc.
Now, they face devastating cuts to indirect cost rates, threatening research & operations.
Silence won’t protect institutions. It won’t protect people; it never does.

Ever thought 'Why don't DV victims just leave?'
Many reasons, 1 scenario...
Start off, all good, friendly, kind, over time some rudeness, but rarely/minor, then abuse & threats start, become more regular, you stay because of the good parts.
The above is about Twitter/X.
If you've stayed there...🤷♀️
I highly recommend you to start the James Islington "Licanius Trilogy". You won't regret it. It's by far the best fantasy book I readed since GOT.

We strongly suggest that academic publishers and other platforms that host research rapidly implement a Share to Bluesky button for their articles. Here's how:
