I wish I could say it was a hard decision, but I dropped OctoDive as a project. It wasn’t fun to play and it wasn’t interesting enough.
I’m working on something new at a slow, but steady pace and I feel a lot happier about the idea. I’m not sure how fun it is, but it is interesting.
Absolutely wild that this is possible.
After a long time off, I'm back at the OctoDive development. Starting with... finishing that damn tilemap.
It feels freeing to not force myself to work on stream.

When I'm back at it, I'm debating switching away from streaming as much and migrating towards doing biweekly or monthly Devlogs.
Right now I'm not making any decisions, but I need to mull over my processes and see what it will take to get my workflows optimized and release a full game.
Just a status update, I've been idling on development due to kicking up pressure on the job hunt.
The good news: I am finally gainfully employed again, which means the Warchest™️can be refilled. After a couple weeks, to months of re-acclimating to full-time work, development updates will resume.
