The sorting and exploring our attic while preparing to move got a little silly today. 50 year old pepper?! generationsofnomads.com/2025/11/01/todays-attic-adventure/

We’re moving. And sorting through All. That. Stuff. Some thoughts on finding treasures and family stories while downsizing. #FamilyHistory #FamilyStories generationsofnomads.com/2025/10/22/memories-stories-small-treasures-unearthed-while-downsizing/
Marian, that’s amazing! Congratulations!!
Thank you!
Thanks so much, Marian!
Thank you for the good wishes. I love the gift (and my cousin!)
Thank you! I love it too.
Thanks! And I hope you feel better soon.
I’ve been missing (health stuff—finishing radiation tomorrow) and not doing any family history. Yesterday my lovely 2nd cousin sent me this. Our mutual gr grandmother, Stella (Owen) Miller, wrote the words. Such a lovely gift!

I hope you at least found some appealing candidates. #GenHour
Hi, Jane. I hope you have your feet up. That sounds mind numbing! #GenHour
#GenHour I haven’t had time to join you or focus on #FamilyHistory #Genealogy for weeks. Here’s my most recent blog post about my grandparents.
Hi #AncestryHour friends. No time to join you today, but wanted to share my most recent blog post about my grandparents’ 100th wedding anniversary. #Genealogy #FamilyHistory
This one has thwarted young love, art, architecture, Logan Roy’s funeral, and a happy ending. Enjoy! #FamilyHistory #Genealogy

Thanks for taking a stand, President Eisgruber! I’m proud to be a 🐅. And thanks for sharing the article, @pronounced-ing.bsky.social
Thanks for sharing this. I’m proud to be a 🐅!
I’ll also be permanently canceling my Amazon Prime subscription, buying a book (clearly an essential) at my preferred indie bookstore, paying cash, and staying off social media for the day. It feels a little futile, but hopefully it’s a small step towards making an impact. Please join me!
I always have a ridiculously huge number of relatives at RootsTech (40,644 and counting), but almost 60% of them are through a step-grandfather, while another sizable chunk is from an incorrect 4th great grandmother. Closest are a 3C2R, 7 various 4th cousins, and 4 5Cs. #genealogy
Happy birthday, Marian! I hope you both enjoy the cake and am sure you’ll wear your tiaras with style. 🎂🫅
Hey, #Genealogy community, assuming I am competent enough to have done this right. (😅) with #RootsTech2025 not too long away, any post relating to RootsTech [which will pick up various hashtags], that'll be the one-stop feed to pin to keep up with it all!

Maybe. He lived another 20 years but I don’t know where he’s buried. Ann was the last of three wives. I haven’t checked on the burials of the first two wives. Maybe Charles is with one of them? #Genealogy
I have one like that. My 3x gr grandmother, Ann Elizabeth Snowden (1808-1847) married Francis Magruder Hall, who died when she was 23. She remarried to Charles C. Hill in 1836. Children from both marriages. Predeceased Charles and is buried with Francis. Baffling! #AncestryHour #Genealogy
I hope it works!
It reminds me of family pictures I have taken in Kansas.
Great picture! Where were they from?
Thanks! The name definitely fits the stories of my ancestors #FamilyHistory
