Green Hairstreak

Sika at Arne RSPB today. I have never seen one flare it's rump fur before. It was paying very careful attention to a dog on a lead. Large Red Damselfly, Sand and Common Lizards, Green Hairstreak, Clouded Yellow were also new for year. There were a few Emperor Moths around #ukwildlife

Another empty trap this evening. It's time to take a break from it, I think #teammoth

I put the trap out for a couple of hours in the evening. 12°c, cloudy, and still. Nothing in the trap. I don't know if it's the neighbours security light coming on every couple of minutes or just a bad evening 🤔
