Chico nurses held a candlelight vigil last night for Alex in front of the of Enloe Hospital. I was happy to see this sing along walking through the crowd and nice to see our local, Jonathan Richman who only paused his singing when he walked past!😍

The tidal flat boardwalk at Nisqually Wildlife refuge is an amazing walk so close to Olympia WA. Woodland and shorebirds are all found here with an abundance of bald eagles.

As the water recedes at Sacramento NWR the wildflowers bloom in the shallow vernal pool depressions. Yellow is mostly a species of gold fields. 15 black bellied plovers counted, mostly in stunning breeding plumage. Snow Mountain on horizon
