Interesting facts roll call! Tell me something cool about textiles. I’ll start:
A Japanese Kimono is made from a single bolt of fabric called a ‘tanmono’. The entire garment is made from 8 rectangular panels cut in such a way that there is no wasted material. All excess is simply hemmed into the garment. This allows the design to seamlessly flow throughout the Kimono 👘
