Nothing wrong with brains being cleaned of foul tory tyrants. Who, as all bullies, enjoy isolating their victims, & hate participating in good sense, conscientious, global communications, for young people’s futures. Young people whom many in WP, seem to want as sex toys, owned by foul rich people.

James Jarché.

General Wavell watches his gardener at work, 1941.

In the reading implied by the title to Jarche's photograph, the general looks at the gardener, who receives this look with his own gaze cast submissively to the ground.

The act of looking.
Power and authority.

This black-and-white portrait captures Maggie Kuhn (1905–1995), the indomitable founder of the Gray Panthers, an activist group that revolutionized the fight against ageism. Seated in a relaxed yet attentive pose, Kuhn is seen in her later years, radiating a sense of sharp-witted wisdom and gentle defiance. She is dressed in a dark, structured, button-down jacket with a small round collar, featuring a prominent circular political button pinned to her left chest—a hallmark of her lifelong commitment to grassroots organizing. Her silver hair is elegantly swept back, and she wears thin-framed glasses that highlight her keen, observant eyes and a slight, knowing smile.

Her hands, weathered by time and adorned with simple rings, rest naturally in her lap, one draped over the arm of what appears to be a patterned chair. The background is softly out of focus, showing a glimpse of indoor foliage and a textured wall, suggesting a television studio or public forum setting where she frequently challenged societal norms. The composition is a medium shot that focuses on her presence as a formidable public figure. The mood is one of dignified strength and intellectual vitality, serving as a powerful visual testament to her legacy as a champion for intergenerational justice and the rights of the elderly.

Mobsters let loose in every community. Globally. Law enforcement, & military participation. But many among them all, claim God’s Good Grace. Were that the truth, none would even be thinking about behaving like mobsters. Never mind accommodating them & getting a taste for the profits mobsters make!

Are the reasons politicians don’t want jury’s to make final decisions, about them, in courts? That we’d find them guilty of their; criminal actions-law ignoring-deceits, false declarations, self-indulgent financial, Earth, and its people destroying, heinously criminal, tyrannical dictates.

To live. Wilfully believing in conscientious souls. With hearts that beat to the music of life’s many good deeds, sights, and harmonious sounds of kindness.
In many dreams that Earth can be admired, cherished, healed, by our love of living here. Balanced wondrously in space.

Scientists Connect Sub-extreme Solar Outbursts to Tree Rings via Poetry As we make our way through the latest solar maximum period, scholars and scientists are looking to similar events in the past to learn more about ancient bouts of solar activity. In particular, they want to know more about solar proton events (SPEs). These outbursts of high-energy particles get triggered by flares and coronal mass ejections.

First saw this story over on Threads, and people really, really, really did not like anyone correcting misinformation about their misreading of the story. We seem to be moving to some sort of post-reality where people just want fake stories that reinforce their beliefs.

Starbucks loves to say their baristas make $30 an hour. Here’s what we really make😳: www.businessinsider.com/how-much-ret...

That’s why we’re demanding a base starting wage of $17 an hour, to raise up the lowest paid baristas. Sbux makes billions in profits, we know they can afford it!

Canadians opposed permanent Daylight Saving Time after experiencing its unnaturally dark winter mornings during World War II. DST is a mandate to start work an hour earlier than Standard Time, which chronically deprives sleep.

This Isn't Trading. It's Theft from Your Retirement. Someone keeps making perfectly-timed bets right before the President speaks. The victims are your pension, your 401(k), and the country I took an oath to defend.

Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

Rain, New Year's Eve
By: Maggie Smith

The rain is a broken piano, playing the same note over and over.
My five-year-old said that.
Already she knows loving the world means loving the wobbles
you can't shim, the creaks you can't oil silent-the jerry-rigged parts,
MacGyvered with twine and chewing gum.
Let me love the cold rain's plinking.
Let me love the world the way I love
my young son, not only when he cups my face in his sticky hands, but when, roughhousing, he accidentally splits my lip.
Let me love the world like a mother.
Let me be tender when it lets me down.
Let me listen to the rain's one note and hear a beginner's song.
