I don’t think I feel like writing about it right now, but at some point we should consider the benefits of accepting these errors, taking pride in them, and in others’ recognition of them.

The answer to "why?" becomes "because it is useful and advances such and such field" rather than "because it will lead to a good life." It might in fact lead to a good life, but if and how it does so seems to rarely be explained or considered.

This was much too obfuscatory. The point is that philosophies that function more as highly theoretical sciences than philosophies of life seem to neglect those therapeutic roots.

It can sometimes be better to let the answers to these things materialize naturally, however.

I feel that AI makes people more apprehensive about things that should happen spontaneously. One could never really ask Google normative, particular questions like “Should I read Nietzsche or Infinite Jest?” but he can in fact ask AI.

À vrai dire, on ne peut pas s’empêcher de se demander si notre distinction entre les deux systèmes est suffisante à écarter ces questions, mais bien sûr si la déclaration n’est pas vraie, il est toujours possible qu’une méthode se transfère et soit utile quand même.

Mais je divague.

En effet, comment savoir avec une sorte de certitude qu’une méthode est faisable et transférable? Y’a-t-il n’importe quelle personne qui a tentée à faire une enquête sur cela ? (Après tout, il est possible qu’il y ait des choses de plus importantes sur lesquelles se concentrer)

Outre ça, il semble toujours que la déclaration est beaucoup plus vague. En effet, les justifications de tous nos désirs qu’elle soit vraie semblent vagues eux-mêmes. Pas les justifications qu’ils seraient utiles (on ne peut pas refuser ça), mais plutôt les justifications qu’ils seraient faisables.

Il est possible qu’on dirait peut-être « Mais il y a tous les sous-domaines de maths » mais quand est-ce que, si jamais, quelqu’un qui propose que les maths sont une langue veut en fait dire que la géométrie algébrique est « une langue » elle-même, à côté de l’algèbre, le calcul, etc. ?

À propos des maths et de langue, il y a quelque chose qui semble triviale, mais c’est en effet si triviale qu’on craint qu’elle n’est jamais remarquée. Tout simplement, c’est qu’il y a plusieurs langues mais il n’y a qu’un domaine des maths.

Après tout, quand on se souvenir une erreur, on jette peut-être tout notre élan. Pourquoi on se permet de l’élan en linguistique juste à cause de la science simple derrière de nos erreurs ? Est-ce que c’est impossible que l’élan puisse être une bénéfice en maths ?

On imagine que, puisque l’erreur de maths n’est pas triviale (la réponse à « pourquoi » n’est pas « parce que les deux sonnent la même » mais plutôt « à cause de cette série des opérations. »), c’est utile à la se souvenir. Est-ce que c’est vrai ?

Il semble y avoir une utilité délicate dans la gestion des erreurs. Si on épelle ανυπομονώ comme ανηπομονώ, il n’y a aucune raison pour fixer sur la faute d’orthographe, mais si on calcule incorrectement 5.16 au lieu de 7.21, on se demande pourquoi.
