Recognizing Brain Type By way of introducing myself, I mentioned in the last newsletter that I lived for 40 years with severe inflammation (eczema, asthma, nerve, and joint pain), chronic fatigue, brain fog, difficulty with...

It's a 2 minute read about the four basic brain types.

I wondered, as I often did, how I could begin to tackle the chaos of my personal belongings.

You might find yourself living among people who do not understand your experience, even after you try to explain it.

You are right, when the ๐Ÿง  changes significantly, the previous self can die (it happened to me). It is a specific kind of life experience, moving onward in life when your stored memories don't reflect a previous version of yourself, it's not you.

I learned to manage lifelong #eczema #asthma #anxiety #depression #chronicfatigue #sensoryintegration (after decades) once I recognized these symptoms were related to central nervous system function (brain based). Working on getting the word out to people with similar symptoms.

You make me wonder how things would be if our skills showed some way

I used to get sensory fatigue by the end of the day (among other things) so after work, that was it, I couldn't deal with more sensory input.

๐Ÿง  existing as it was meant to be isn't just a nicety, it is necessary for #health

In the sense that you can't push yourself!

Feeling ill and not being motivated are different, if you can't work, that's how it is.

Reflection this morning. When you experience something for a long time it changes your ๐Ÿง  When you're ill for a long time, even after your symptoms resolve, you have a different ๐Ÿง  and look at the world differently.

It's difficult dealing with your own symptoms & other people at the same time!

It should be easy to see! From my own chronic health issue, I've found people have a hard time with things they can't see & a hard time with chronic issues in general - in their life pain has a cause & it can be resolved. Not justifying it!

Lack of understanding when they can't see the symptoms.

Writing about #chronicillness I am finding there are many #subgenres. I am wondering how other people have found their writing niche - book, article, blog etc - to reach their readers? ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“š

I like working on multiple things at the same time (say during the same week) ๐Ÿ™‚ Rotating through projects is easier than holding my ๐Ÿง  in one place until it gets tired!

I'm not submitting right now, so don't know if this is helpful, but I do spend time writing. I think most people who write don't necessarily sell much. I think many of us have to consider why we do it, and if we would keep writing even if we knew it might not sell or get accepted. Good luck!

I took news off my feeds - I can get politics when I listen to news other ways! It's nice to have a separate space for reading and writing.

I'm glad it helped!

Maybe write down a one sentence summary for each of the next 4 or 5 paragraphs and see how things are looking after that?

Something from #theblurb for my #book: Human beings have four basic brain types. When society does not recognize your #braintype it gives rise to a host of physical and #mentalhealth issues. Input shapes the ๐Ÿง  Knowing this, we can treat our brains differently.

#WIPSnips (fear)

When you live at the edge of physical existence, you live with the fear that you might not be able to meet daily expectations that seem ordinary to everybody else.

I wrote an essay "Social Invisibility" (for now 99c Amazon) about the health effects of masking - for all the groups you mentioned ๐Ÿ™‚

Meds have different timetables (some are supposed to work more quickly than others). Pharmacists tend to know a lot about average expectations for different meds, as a way to get information in the meantime.

That would be some good feedback for your doctor - not noticing a response (for 4 weeks) is something you've observed

When I was going through it, I didn't recognize that #eczema #asthma #depression #anxiety #inflammation #sensoryintegration #jointpain #nervepain #muscleweakness were related and had the same underlying cause. Post today is about the importance of looking at #symptoms as a whole.

If you get a chance to rate it on Amazon it might help it not to disappear! Thank you again ๐Ÿ™‚
