William Friedkin told that story at a film festival and it's one of the funniest things you will ever see.

Michael Clayton is excellent. Great acting, superb direction & a terrific screenplay. A strong & memorable directorial debut from Tony Gilroy. George Clooney, Tom Wilkinson & Sydney Pollack are brilliant but Tilda Swinton is the film’s MVP. Astounding performance. She deserved that Oscar.

I just finished Andy Weir’s book #ProjectHailMary. A great and exciting book. I have liked Weir’s books, particularly The Martian. The complex science featured in his stories is pretty accessible and you’re able to get a basic understanding of it. And he’s got a great sense of humour.

Seeing both Kill Bill films in the cinema was a lot of fun. They still work together as two separate films. Vol.2 is still not as strong as Vol.1. It lacks the first film’s momentum & dynamic energy. The very slow pace & dialogue heavy scenes do bring the film slightly down. Still, worth a watch

A delightful and quietly tragic film from Richard Linklater. It features one of Ethan Hawke’s best performances.

As someone who doesn’t watch a lot of anime, I really liked this. A very creepy and visceral existential film.

Yeah the last two films had some underwhelming reveals that you saw coming a mile away. But 7 was pretty weak & fell flat. Maybe for the 8th one they should just go for it & say Stu is alive. Just find an intriguing angle & maybe use some of the rejected storyline they were gonna use for Scream 3
😂
Yeah I was onboard with it for like the first 30 minutes or so. Then it slowly lost itself about what it was trying to say & do. The reveal was pretty flat & unsurprising. It became a process of elimination & it was obvious who it was. I liked seeing Matthew Lillard though. He didn’t skip a beat.
As a fan of the #Scream franchise, I’m sad to say #Scream7 is a disappointing entry. A strong opening & 1st Act gets upended very quickly. No matter how hard it tries & also how much it slices & dices nothing characters, it can’t cover up the fact that this a messy & thinly plotted film.
