We are off to Wasdale for the weekend and good weather there would be a big bonus.

Our picture is a stark, close-up view looking upward along the trunk of a bare tree. The tree dominates the center of the frame, its bark rough and textured, with knots and ridges that catch the light. Its branches stretch outward in thin, twisting lines, mostly leafless, creating a web of delicate, spindly shapes against the sky. The colour palette is muted and cool, almost monochrome. Shades of grey, charcoal, and faint blue. The sky behind the tree is overcast, with soft, blurred clouds that make the branches stand out sharply in contrast. The lighting is subdued, giving the scene a slightly somber, wintry feel. Just managed to do the subtitles for this. The video includes footage of the state-sponsored police riot at Orgreave and audio testimony from miners who were there. With John Tams’ music it makes for a powerful combination.
