I am pretty sure that male type boldness has exactly the same map pattern. Ergo sum: the total hair reserve shall be uniform around the globe. (aka Mediterranean hair hypothesis)

Will arxiv accept typist file submissions any time soon? It may be mature enough for humaties, but, not for sciences. They still cannot support ams style equation numbering.
Motorcycle manuals still have similar sections. Tough, I seriously believe that "do not ride while using mobile phone" warning would be more useful.
Reporting from the Asia: when you double press the button, the led is turned off as if the selection is canceled. Yet, the elevator still goes to that floor.
Asia is where the possibilities are limitless.
Physicist: It’s impossible for an electronic device to be 100% efficient!
Engineer:
At the end, I end up with #latexml. It essentially converts ordinary latex into a semantic markup language.

Cem baskanimi niye X'te biraktiniz. En azindan haber vereydiniz biz gidiyoruz diye. Battle of Bastards'daki John Snow gibi akitlerin arasinda kalmistir orada.

The Poisson summation formula is one of my favorite tricks. It seems magical, but the proof is quite simple:
@igalia.com do you have any anticipation about when #chrome will start properly typesetting mathematical accents in #mathml. Even after two years of first release, math accents still does not stretch at all.
It's 1985, your C64 is switched on, currently loading a brand new game called Commando, your mates are on their way round to your house with more games, bags of Monster Munch Pickled Onion flavour and a bottle of Cherryade. You don't know it yet, but this is as good as life gets.
Scarier each day
An advert in Overleaf for the Premium version of their shitty new AI integration, Writefull. It reads: "You're on fire! You just hit your daily quota. Become Premium now to continue using Writefull."
Yet ANOTHER reason to hate Overleaf 🤮
Now it has built-in 'AI assistance' that sends your draft papers to a third-party LLM. It also means that it shills for the product from right within the editor.
I would recommend considering #tinytex instead of those insanely bulky #texlive or #miktex. You can simply copy #tinytex to a folder, set the system path and then you can start using #lyx with it.
It turns out #typst seriously sucks at equation numbering. There is a 1.5 year old open bug/feature report on this, but not a single progress. Good job @typst.app, you have succeeded in inventing yet another shitty markup just for #humanities.

#Mathematics is not an object to be embedded in a text. It is a part of the text itself. Yet, #docbook group has yet to understand this simple fact. I wish #pretextbook would soon replace the #docbook crap. #techwriting #mathsky
#Katex is good but it does not support equation numbers and references to those numbers as #mathjax does. It is a huge inconvenience.

Is there a way to number (and label) only a specific line in an aligned equation environment in #typst. I need a similar functionality provided by amsmath latex package. @typst.app
Hey #pretextgang. Admit that you actually enjoy misery and suffer that people endure while searching anything on internet related to #pretext. What was wrong with the name mathbook?
Am I the only one that hates #linux directory structure to the bones? Define a folder named os, put all the os related folders (proc, opt, mnt, etc, "etc") in it. But no, let's screw even home folder by putting tons of other config file in it. Even a penguin could tell this is wrong.
All my linux pc' are dell. Never had an issue.
A comic called "What City Pigeons Talk About". Two city pigeons are standing on the sidewalk. One says "Hey, do you ever think about the past?" The other says "The past?"
A closeup of the first pigeon. They say "Yeah - do you ever think about where we came from? Sometimes I forget that city pigeons are domestic animals."
A hand reaches out to three wild pigeons. The narrator pigeon says "Humans domesticated us many millennia ago in the Middle East. We provided meat, feces used for fertilizer, and much more." There are two very fancy pigeon breeds. "Over time, people split us into hundreds of pure breeds - some quite elaborate! Kings and queens proudly kept pigeons, and colonists spread us worldwide."
A closeup again of the first pigeon, who says, "But we fell out of fashion. Now we peck at the dusty concrete, our past glory all but forgotten. Do you ever think about that?"
Another thing I made this year. Pigeon history!
it's kinda sad that digital work is so hidden
like there's no messy study room or bookshelves full of works you've read or letters from people and gizmos and widgets you've built or stacks of drawings and diagrams
it's all just, hidden in folders, already lost in space, and eventually lost to time
Well, we simply assume that females do not exits. This surely solves gender issues in this part of the World.
I don't understand why anyone has not come up with the idea of using #LyX as a #PreTeXt frontend. That combination would solve grad students' writing toolchain misery.
