I enjoy listening to podcasts in Greek. Some of my favorites are
-Easy Greek
-Easy Greek Stories for Intermediate
-LiFO (they cover many different topics)
I also really like using Language Reactor while I watch a show or anything on YouTube. Check out ERTFLIX.
I’ve been meeting with a tutor once a week. We talk for about 30-40 minutes and the rest is focused on grammar. This is the textbook we use : www.amazon.com/Ellinika-Gre...
I want to focus on Croatian next.
Τέλεια! 👏👏
Not that well with hrvatski, I need to spend more time on it.
Still here too! I’ve got a Greek tutor now, so I’m getting plenty of speaking practice. Greek is my main focus at the moment, though 🇭🇷🇧🇷🇯🇵 sometimes tempt me. I just dabble in those for now and will get serious about them once I feel more confident in 🇬🇷.
I second that! His courses are great. I’ve listened to the Greek one and really enjoyed it. 🇬🇷
Do you have any Apple devices? If so, you can now read along while listening—most podcasts offer transcripts! The feature is available in 11 languages. It started with EN, FR, DE, and ES, and I’m really happy they’ve added more like🇮🇹,🇳🇴, and 🇧🇷. I absolutely love it!
Maybe these podcasts would be helpful.
It’s on pause at the moment. 😭
The most I do is play a podcast maybe once a week. I’m trying to reach an intermediate level in my target language first, so it needs all my attention lol. Norwegian is such a melodic language, I really enjoy it. What resources are you using to learn it?
Yep, it’s a typo.😬
“Una vez” is correct. ✅
This is cute 🐱🦆🐷

Tusen takk! 😄
Wow! I had never heard it in Norwegian. It’s amazing, still got the chills. 🥹 I need to make time to study it more, at least some passive listening.
Moving on to more challenging material in Greek! 🇬🇷

People who learn to speak new languages are impressive. Similarly, the pianist whose music moves us, or the person with an incredible physique stand out.
The reason is the same. Those things come from time, hard work and consistent improvement. There are no shortcuts. #langsky
“o”, “s”, “i” 😅
I know one is commonly used with neuter nouns, another with feminine nouns, and one frequently appears in the third-person singular—but I still struggle with them. Does anyone have any tips they can share? 🙂
I’ve been doing dictation exercises in #Greek. Spelling can be tricky since there are multiple ways to write certain sounds. I’ve got a good grasp of when to use σ vs. ς, and while ο vs. ω can sometimes be confusing, the biggest challenge is distinguishing between ι, υ, η, οι, and ει. 🇬🇷 #langsky
Thank you so much! I’ll definitely ping you. 😅

I’m pretty sure you can break it down even more. That would be pretty cool!I just do it by languages.
Thank you! 😊✨
So far, so good. I studied Russian in the past, and it's surprisingly been helpful for learning Croatian. I’ve noticed some similarities with the cases—let’s see how long that lasts! Haha. 😅
I’m using Toggl. I name my projects after the languages I'm learning.

I started tracking my time spent on language learning this year. Here's how January turned out.
