I'm starting to get to the point that it is no longer appropriate bedtime reading, haha. (Fighting my fear of bugs wanting to eat me...)
I've also been kinda laughing at myself because I swore I would stop buying alpaca yarn and here I am knitting through the itch to get this made in this supposedly forbidden (beautiful) fabric!

I somehow owned zero shawls and never really appreciated them before I started knitting. I was always borrowing them at events from older women who knew better and absentmindedly saying "I should buy one at some point" 😆

Savoring one of my favorite xmas gifts: Elizabeth Zimmermann's The Opinionated Knitter. (Yes, that's a swatch-as-bookmark lol). Chock full of fantastic anecdotes and the archive of her knitting newsletters. I read the funny parts out loud to my husband.
