And it’s not even taco Tuesday!
I’d pay for his flight ✈️

A bright lightning bolt strikes down from a purple-lit storm cloud into a desert landscape at night, silhouetting tall saguaro cacti and a few low buildings below
Multiple branching lightning bolts stretch horizontally across a glowing purple sky above a desert hillside, with scattered city lights visible in the distance and cacti silhouetted in the foreground.
A lightning strike forks across a dark sky over a city at night, illuminating distant mountains and a desert foreground dotted with saguaro cacti and glowing urban lights

On a trip to Tucson, Arizona this past weekend, I said, “I’d love to get a shot of lightning with a Saguaro 🌵 cactus and the city on the background”. I didn’t think there was an ounce of possibility that would happen. Then it did! #lightning #Tucson #canon #photographersUnite
A killer whale erupts from the ocean in a dramatic breach, its black-and-white body twisting as its tail slaps the water, sending a burst of spray into the air. The surrounding sea is dark and choppy, with a hazy shoreline and muted hills in the background.
A lone orca bursts upright out of the water, its sleek black-and-white body glistening in the sunlight as it breaches. Ripples and splashes surround it on the calm, dark-blue ocean surface.
A large male orca glides just beneath the ocean’s surface, its tall, straight dorsal fin rising sharply from the water. Ripples trail along its back, and a scattering of mist hangs in the air. The sea is calm and dark, with a soft, hazy horizon in the distance.
A male orca swims at the surface, its tall dorsal fin cutting cleanly through the water as a cloud of mist rises from its blow. Gentle ripples and splashes trail alongside the whale, while the ocean stretches out beneath a soft, hazy horizon.
Southern Resident Orca, J, K, and L pods made a 74 Orca Super Pod pass through the Puget sound! It was my first time seeing the southern residents and it was breathtaking! #Orca #southernresidents #superpod #photographersunited #PNWphotography #eastcoastkin #whales #killerwhales
Thank you Steven!
Love it! Thanks for sharing! I have a cam to put up to watch the hummingbirds, but am having a hunch of work done in the yard. I’ll put it up once it’s all complete 💕
Nice!!! That sounds like a very versatile lens! I just got a 600mm prime I’m playing with. I have a 150-600 but found so many of my photos are blurry. Just set camera to wildlife settings after watching a YouTube video and will see how that works out. 🤞
Oooooh new glass! What did you get?
GREAT attitude! 💕
Good morning to you! Never give up! We take 1,000s of photos to get that ONE amazing shot don’t we? You got this! You’ll get your shot and I can’t wait to see it 🦅
Amazing! I can’t get over the focus on the eye! Seriously gorgeous images! Thanks for sharing!
And yours turned out very crisp! Seriously beautiful shot.
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic shot too!
We were doing the same thing today! I JUST posted hummingbirds too. Congrats on capturing the ghost!
A small hummingbird with green and gray feathers perches on a thin branch tipped with curled, brown leaves, against a softly blurred green background.
A hummingbird with iridescent green and gray plumage hovers with wings extended above the same branch with curled brown leaves, framed by softly blurred green foliage in the background.
Good morning bluesky! I love hummingbirds, and spent the morning challenging myself to get some shots of hummingbirds in flight. Its still early 🤣
How are you challenging yourself today?

I LOVE this for you! There's something incredible about a journey like the one you're on! I look forward to seeing where this takes you!
Thank you! I love how smooth the water looks with long exposures and an ND filter 💗
A close-up, long-exposure shot of a rocky river gorge, where smooth, milky-white water flows over and around moss-covered boulders. The layered cliff walls frame the scene, with a fallen tree leaning diagonally across the upper right side.
A wide, long-exposure view of a cascading river waterfall surrounded by dense evergreen forest. The water flows in silky, white streams over multiple rock ledges, with large dark boulders scattered along the riverbanks.

Such a pretty purple too!
The photo shows a vibrant purple wildflower in full bloom, captured in sharp detail against a softly blurred green background. The flower’s slender, spiky petals radiate outward from a dense center, tipped with tiny white pollen grains. To the right, a dried brown blossom contrasts with the fresh bloom, hinting at the plant’s life cycle. The overall composition highlights the flower’s delicate texture and vivid color, with the background creating a sense of depth and focus on the subject.

🤣🤣😆 I too hate that! 😂
That’s a great attitude to have!
I bet that WAS scary! We saw a grizzly while up there! It’s Not the best shot of her, because thankfully she was far enough away!
This is an awesome shot!
Beautiful!
That’s impressive!!! We did a 12 hour drive on Friday, explored the park Saturday, and drove back Sunday. Super fast turn around. But sooo worth it. I could have spent days exploring! What a wonderful experience that must’ve been!

It makes us realize just how small we are compared to Mother Nature! Breathtaking is the perfect word. 💕
Birds can be challenging to capture! I’m trying to nail that skill in myself! Great shots anyway! What a cool thing to witness with camera in hand!
