Many American companies are feeling the heat, so they're setting up plans to assure the EU that they're still trustworthy. Europeans aren't buying it.

Ska du absolut välja en molntjänst för AI, välj franska Mistral som åtminstone låter dina data stanna i Europa, följer GDPR och i fallet betaltjänsten inte tränar på dina data. Själv kör jag dock Mistrals mikro-AI Ministral lokalt när jag behöver exempelvis översätta privat e-post.

Non tech savvy politicans like Newson signs bill they have no clue about, getting worldwide implications. Must be challenge in court. I hope @eff.org and @softwarefreedomconservancy is on to it. Also this is clearly a coordinated effort as a lot of states got almost the same bills at same time.
