Zde vidíme pohled na 32 milionů světelných let vzdálenou spirální galaxii NGC 1637. Tato galaxie leží v souhvězdí Eridanus na jižní obloze.

V pravé části vidíme několik výřezů na klíčovou oblast, kde byla zachycena supernova SN 2025pht. Hubble a JWST zřejmě identifikovaly hvězdu, která vybuchla.

30 let v kosmickém prostoru včera oslavila evropská solární observatoř SOHO. Ta přitom měla podle původního plánu fungovat jen 3 roky, takže plán překonala již o 27 let.

Kromě mnoha objevů ve sluneční fyzice objevila také přes 5000 komet.

According to MPC database, the last observation of C/1984 U1 is from 1991 11 02: www.minorplanetcenter.net/db_search/sh...

The chateau in Žamberk (Senftenberg) and the castle garden, where the observatory stood from which Brorsen discovered two comets, C/1851 P1 and C/1851 U1. A nice place to visit, the garden is freely accessible. The chateau currently houses a secondary school.
