I was in my first formation flight yesterday! The Canadian Aviation Museum fleet (with @flightchops.bsky.social in his RV-14) did a flyover for a charity & I rode in the back of the Chipmunk (@peacewind.aero was in the back of the Harvard). I even got some stick time. More difficult than it looks!

You can in the Waymo app - in LA, SF and Phoenix.

Riding a Waymo is one of the few things in 2025 that truly make me feel like I'm living in the 21st century.

It is and it is Google's Waymo. You can easily find specs and pics.

Yes the entire fleet is Jaguars, the tech is impressive. So is the safety data from their test markets in LA, SF, PHX. Way better than human drivers. I've never felt this safe in a car in LA.

Cost is the same as Uber/Lyft.

This is awful in southern Nevada. It’s important desert tortoise habitat, and encourages sprawl.

It’s also going to be hard to get water for these areas. Groundwater is over allocated in these areas.

Being an hour outside Las Vegas isn’t going to useful in any way for low-income workers.
