The cover for the Life Is Suffering 7" by Into It. Over It., which I thought was pretty good. It is a black background with a polaroid of the band and maybe some guests against a white brick wall. The group is huddled close together and looking at the camera, with one person kneeling in front and making a "what's up" pose. There are five white bearded dudes and one pale blonde lady in the group. There's also a black chair on the right side near just a hint of a window. Below the polaroid the record title is in all caps sans serif sort of bold font and below that as a tag line in smaller but similar font it reads "A Live Seven Inch Accompaniment".

A promo image for the game Biomutant, which I thought was not great. It is digital art of an anthropomorphic animal soldier in a jungle setting under a partly cloudy blue sky. At the top, in the sky, is the game title in a futuristic bold all caps white angular font and some of the letters have little gaps in them. The background is pretty realistic blue sky with a faint moon and a bunch of clouds and then a jungle scene with short, large-leaf plants strewn about. The raccoon-like soldier guy has tall ears, very thin arms, and a massive sword. Its right hand is turning into a plant where it holds the sword and its left is holding a gun low by its waist so that it extends off the bottom of the image. It is wearing a red scarf, bandolier over a vest or tall belt, some kind of shoulder-covering thing with a logo on it, and long pants, all in dark olive green. Oh, and an eye patch. A little green cricket rides on its shoulder.

The record cover for the Tales of Doomed Romance split 7" by The Bouncing Souls and Buglite, which I thought was fine. The image is of the Bouncing Souls side and is a heart shape with a large crack running down the right side of it centered in what appears to be a broken pane of glass. The glass and heart are in black ink and two angled rectangles contain the band name and the record title in all caps sans serif font. Pretty simple but effective design.

The box cover for the game Basic Math, which I thought was not great. It is VERY 70's in appearance with a blue background and yellow font above the main image. The game title and "Game Program" appear at the top in retro spacey sans serif all caps font with "8 video games" and "table problems, random problems" in two columns below that and smaller font. At the very bottom in white tiny font is "A Warner Communications Company" and the Warner logo. The main image is of two school children dressed in all green, the one on the left female presenting in a long dress and kind of looking like an elf and the one on the right male presenting and wearing a kind of military top and bell bottoms. Both are ecstatic to be there and a rainbow bridges the gap between them. On their outfits, are two basic math problems 3/3=1 and 21x36=756 written in the American format. The left kid is admiring what appears to be a dove flying overhead and the right kid is catching a butterfly in a net. The bird has 4x44 on it, the butterfly has the basic operations and the net has 8+6=14. In between them in a bronze bordered square are the four basic operations again and below that there is a three headed dragon, a frog with many fingers, and a seated child with long hair and green pajamas with a ten-fingered hand. Below that, are two very toothy whales maybe vomiting the ocean or drinking it and the ocean has three Koi-like fish and the problem 92-50=42. The Atari logo is in the bottom left and CX 2661 in the bottom right. The game has pretty much none of this image in it other than the math.

A screenshot of the game Wordle, which I thought was not great. At the top is a little question mark in a circle, the game's title in sans serif all caps and a little gear. All of this has a line under it and then a large space before a rectangle of 30 boxes, 5 wide and 6 tall. The background is dark and all of the items are in grey except the title in white.

The cover for the Gorilla Biscuits self-titled 7", which I thought was pretty good. At the top of this version is the band name in all caps red squareish serif font. Below that is a drawing of a distorted gorilla-headed humanoid folding its arms after emerging from between two buildings and smashing them a bit on the way. The gorilla human has giant forearms crossed over its chest and absolutely massive feet that strangle have one toe separated from the others. It is wearing a Champion hoodie and has a Joker-like smile from ear to ear. Actually it kind of looks like John Fetterman.

The record cover for the self-titled Recreational Drugs album, which I thought was fine. The main image is a sort of collage of a fine art drawing/painting and technical drawing on a white background and the band/record name at the top in small all caps engineer handwriting in pencil. The artistic part appears to be an amphibious plane taking off from a tropical island in a mostly wispy cloudy sky, a light grey body of water, some low mountains in the background, and some palm trees on the right. The plane has four engines but the rotors are not visible and a boat fuselage with two stabilizing pontoons hanging down from the wing on top of the fuselage. On top of this, a cutout from an instructional book or pamphlet has been pasted just below the horizon line in the bottom third of the image. The image is of a male presenting figure kneeling over a long stick propped up perpendicularly to another shorter stick and using a string in both hands wrapped under the long stick to create friction and start a fire, maybe?

The record cover for Psychic Temple by Chris Schlarb, which I thought was pretty good. It is a two tone cover in teal and purpleish on tan and the main image is just a monotone purple picture of the band. They are sitting at a table with two lit candles on it and all looking at the camera with neutral expressions. There are seven male-presenting people in the band and I don't know who is who, so from left to right, there's a light-skinned person with shaggy hair and a moderately sparse beard, behind him is a dark-skinned person with long braid and a Rasta hat, to their right is a person wearing a suit and sunglasses with a thick beard and afro, seated at the table is a pale skinned person with short hair and thin glasses, behind him a person with medium long hair tucked behind their ears, to their right a tall person with large glasses and dark clothing, and also seated at the table another pale person with a long face and kind of a Tony Hawk haircut. The bottom of the image is obscured by a teal smoke effect and the whole cover has a thin tan border.

A promo image for the game Sword of the Sea, which I thought was pretty good. The image is of a character surfing on a sword with some fish flying behind it and a mountainous desert in the background. The title of the game is just over the desert scene in sand-like all caps subtle serif thin font with a drop shadow. A tall tower with a light on it is in the far background and the clouds in the sky are swirling around that tower. The greenish ocean is very transparent and you can see a little bit of coral but still the small red and white fish are flying through the sky behind the character surfing. They are surfing on a very narrow board that is actually a magic sword with intricate designs on it. They are wearing a flowy outfit in shades of blue and a gold helmet and appear to be going real fast as a blaze of blue light streams out behind the sword board.

A promo image for the game Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which I thought was pretty good. It is a classic Star Wars image with the left side being a dark side image in reddish brown of the battle of Geonosis and the right side being a light side image in bluish white of the battle of Hoth. In the middle is a triangle of lego versions of Star Wars characters just like in the move posters. In this case, Rey is leading the bottom row with a yellow lightsaber flanked by Finn and BB-8 on the left and Chewbacca and Kylo Ren on the right. Just above them, a larger Jedi Luke Skywalker is in black and making a grimacing face while holding his green lightsaber. Above Luke is an even larger Darth Vader doing the force choke pose and holding his red lightsaber at his side. Above all of this The Lego logo appears next to the Star Wars logo and below that, in the same font as the start of The Force Awakens, it reads "The Skywalker Saga." To the right of the game title is a lego Death star with a number of tie fighters streaming out of it towards a swooping Millennium Falcon. On the right is a small molten lava moon which I would guess is Mustafar and a Naboo ship, probably Padmรฉ's. Lotsa wars in these stars!

The record cover for the 7" single C'mon Kid by Dave Hause, which I thought was fine. It is an all green background with a large black outline circle in the middle and four vertical hand drawn lines in the middle signifying the number 4 (this is the 4th in a series). At the top is Dave Hause's name in a sort of thick handwritten white font that angles slightly down to the right. In the bottom right is the song title in a tall and neat white handwritten font with maybe some tiny dots at the end of the straight letters. Just above that is a technical style drawing in white of three pills in a scattered pile, two capsule and one round with a line through it.

The box cover for the game Dragonstomper, which I thought was pretty good. At the top is the game title in a red to yellow gradient color, underlined, and in an all caps calligraphic font with a gold outline. The S is enlarged and the bottom part curls in on itself like a dragon tail. The main image is below this and is a side profile of a knight against a dark, partly cloudy and starry sky. The knight is wearing golden armor with distinctly dragon-like features like wing protruding off the side of the helmet, teeth on the helmet opening, and scales on the shoulders. The armor is ornate with a number of swirly designs and the face sticking out of it is very dark skinned with orange glowing eyes, maybe part dragon? At the bottom of the image there is a distant light in the bottom left corner behind the Supercharger logo and the bottom right has the text "Supercharger unit must be purchased separately. Cassette player required" in a white sans serif font followed by the Starpath Corporation logo and formerly Arcadia corporation as a similar logo.

The box cover for the game Pokรฉmon Stadium 2, which I thought was not great. It is a colorful box cover with a red banner on the right side sort of peeled down to reveal a yellow background with the N64 logo and "Only For" on the peeled down part. A N64 Transfer Pak logo below that, a four-controller logo below that, and the ESRB rating of E at the bottom right. The bottom left has the Dolby Surround sound logo and the bottom of the main image says "Links to Game Boy Pokemon Gold, Silver, Yellow, Blue, and Red!" in all caps sans serif font. The main image is of two 90's computer graphic generated pokemon. The pocket monster on the right is an all blue flying dragon with a pointy head and the one on the left is a multicolored phoenix-like bird with long feathers on the top of its head. The title for the game appears above the two pokemon (whose names I can't remember) with Pokemon in the classic pokemon chaotic cartoony font with the vowels being smaller than the consonants, stadium is in an all caps serif athletic font but distorted to have the top and bottom of the letters be curved, and the 2 is in a metallic oval with blue border.

The cover for the Rainsnowmatch 7" by Braid, which I thought was fine. It is a very basic cover, white with a vertical blue stripe in the left half. A minimal line drawing in the middle in gold ink might represent a landscape or a set of dunes or something. It's only two line segments and three curves, so... open to interpretation. The band name is in lowercase handwritten font with two dots on either side and is placed on the bottom right of the design.

The cover for the Ignite / Slapshot split 7" record, which I thought was fine. The main image is a green toned photo of a chaotic hardcore show with a mass of young white dudes pressed up against a stage and mostly making grimace faces. One white dude has just stage dived into the melee front first and his legs are bent at the knee with the momentum. A bald, tattooed hardcore guy stands over them, facing away from the camera and holding a mic in his left fist. Overlaid on the right third is a moderately transparent yellow graphic that looks like a Rorschach Test. The band names are at the top, with Ignite in an all caps serif font in yellow with a black and yellow outline and Slapshot in a somewhat angular bold all caps athletic font and the same outline.

A promo image for the game The Wild At Heart, which I thought was fine. The image is of a strange woodland landscape with rounded stones, autumn leaves on cottonball trees, and low flowers, grasses, and other plants continuing the color theme of browns and oranges. One of the tall rounded rocks on the left has a arcane circular design on it. An arcade machine is sitting at an awkward angle on the ground on the right. The game appears to be called Dragon Ouoz! and a red dragon and a blue dragon appear on the side in a cartoony style. Around the game are three little humanoid characters with wide set round eyes, one appearing to be made of ice, another made of lava, and the third just autumnal yellow. The two main characters are on the left of the image, both young kids, one wearing a hoodie, jean jacket, baseball cap with a planet on it, and a backpack that looks strangely like a vacuum turned into a proton pack from Ghostbusters. The other character is shorter and wears a viewmaster as a hat and a nice fall sweater/dress. The title of the game appears in the middle in an indie movie thin moderately angular all caps sans serif font with an arrow as the crossbar of the T.

I played the game "The Wild At Heart" on the Playstation 5 and thought it was ๐—™๐—œ๐—ก๐—˜ (โญโญโญ).

The cover for the 7" It's In Your Hands... by Engage, which I thought was fine. It is a black and white cover with the band name at the top in a Papyrus-like (but not quite) bold all caps serif font. The main image is of maybe a wall of a prison and we're looking out through the bars. The wall is on three sides of the cover in a thick strip and is filled with razor wire and symbolism like an oil barrel, a gun, a bag of money, a hypodermic needle, an american flag, a bible, a radioactive symbol, the McDonald's golden arches, and a bottle. Through the bars is a nature scene with a deer, wolf, and rabbit chilling on the left side. The rabbit is crying and has a human reflected in its eye. There's a chicken in the bottom right and a flower and above them two adult human-ish figures holding hands with a child. They look sad and kind of alien. A big pointy tree is behind them and in the distance mountains are on the horizon and a partly cloudy sky with a bright sun. The record title is in the bottom section of the wall behind razor wire in all caps italic serif font and the signature of the artist is in the bottom right.

The record cover for the Astro Zombies / Colored Greens split 7", which I thought was bad. This is the Astro Zombies side which is black photocopy on red paper. The band name and song title appear at the top in serif typewriter all caps font which is clearly printed on paper strips and glued on the main image. That image is a white male-presenting person leaning in real close to a fisheye lens and making a worried face. The background is very dark but may be some speakers or a stage? At the bottom are more pasted on papers, one of a bust of Edgar Allen Poe and the label name Poe Records, below that the address for Astro Zombies, and in the bottom left a bible verse (Ecclesiastes 3:19).

A promo image for the game Balatro, which I thought was pretty good. The image is of a blue and red wisp of flame or smoke travelling across the screen from left to right, hitting the "wall" of the image and curving back towards the middle. The bottom half of the image is blue and the top is red, same for the smoke/flame business. There are three pixelated and overlapping joker cards just tucking under the edge of the flame bit, the back one is green with a die on it, the middle one is a skull joker in black and white, and the foreground one is a regular colorful joker with the classic 3 tip jester hat and weird clown makeup and collar. In the middle of the image is the game title in a serif font that seems to have been randomly italicized and stretched vertically. The font is in white with blue and red marble effect and a heavy outline. The A is replaced by the Ace of Spades card, however.

The cover for the self-titled 7" by Copper, which I thought was not great. It is a mostly brown cover with the band name in large sans serif lowercase letters at the bottom in sort of embossed brown. In the middle is a small black and white photo in a tan border that appears to be of two children in old western clothing. Their heads are partially cropped out and they appear to be walking down a city or town street.

A promo image for the game Stardew Valley, which I thought was fine. The image is in a 16-bit pixelated style and is of an idyllic farm in a mountainous countryside. The sky is blue but also stars are out and there are a few tall clouds in the distance over some layers of green mountains. In the foreground, a sturdy chicken coop/building has a cat sleeping on the roof and a little fenced side yard with hay and water. A male-presenting character is running to the left by the coop holding an ear of corn. On the other side of the coop is a mine car on some tracks and three planted crops (two rhubarb and something else I can't remember). Further left is a loose chicken and a female-presenting character riding a short horse. The scene is bookended by a selection of trees and bushes and a low fence runs along the near horizon. The title for the game is in the middle of the sky in an all caps font made out of planks of wood and a few leaves sprout from the corners of the first and last letters. Cute.

The box cover for the game Escape From The Mindmaster, which I thought was life-changing. The main image is of a green-skinned, male-presenting, floating head. The head is looking up at the viewer while being slightly tilted down giving it a menacing look. It has pointy ears and a sort of ice cream cone shape with a large cranium. Upon that cranium is a red walled maze filled with yellow light. The game title is at the top with "Mindmaster" in orange old timey monster film font with black accents and "Escape From The" in a blue sans serif all caps font laid over the top of "Mindmaster". At the bottom is a big logo that reads "A Supercharger Multi Load game for the Atari Video Computer System" in a blue circle. To the right of this it reads "Supercharger unit must be purchased separately. Cassette Player required." Below that, the Starpath Corporation logo appears with "(formerly Arcadia Corporation)" below it in a similar logo style. The background is blue and red smoke.

A promo image for the game Day Z, which I thought was bad. The main image is a Last of Us style rip off of a female presenting person holding a long gun and sitting on a chunk of concrete in a post apocalyptic cityscape. There's a dead zombie lying in the background and a shadowy figure approaching. It is a mostly cloudy sky and the leaves on the trees lining the street are just turning to autumn colors. The person in the foreground is wearing a plaid shirt, jeans, and reddish beanie with a wide white stripe and they are just looking at the ground in sadness or exhaustion maybe. The title of the game is in white, very bold and large sans serif font in the middle of the image, however it has been somewhat distressed and the bottom of it has had images cut out, like a road sign for the middle of the D and a person with a large backpack for the middle of the A. This image would make the graphics of the game seem very nice but in fact they are terrible for a modern game like this. I did not like it and I will hold a grudge.

A screenshot of the mobile game Chain Rxn, which I thought was fine. It is an old screenshot with some 20ish-year old design elements including a speaker with action lines in the bottom left corner, three buttons arranged horizontally from that which say "Friends' Scores", "High Scores", and "New Game", a little "i" in a circle in the top left for info, and a "Connect with Facebook" button in the top right with the lowercase f logo. The main part of the image is the game title in basic sans serif font and the Fast Forward button icon to the right of it. Just above that is a red multi-pointed star/circle with the word Free! in it. To the top left of the title is three overlapping translucent circles of different sizes. The smallest one is yellow, the middle one is magenta, and the biggest one is grey. This whole image is reflected over the horizontal center line and faded out to look like a reflection in water or something. Old school mobile design!

The record sleeve for the First Day Back single by Braid, which I thought was fine. It is a retro sleeve design with a hole in the middle where the label of the record peeks out. It is mostly greens and browns with "Polyvinyl Record Co." at the top in bold all caps sans serif font and "7" Single series" below that in the same font but smaller and offset to the left followed by a thick horizontal bar taking up the rest of the width. Just below and to the right of the bar is the Polyvinyl logo, "In Stereo", and a design of three ellipses of the same height but slightly wider that have the same center with three Venn diagram-like circles of black, brown, and green in it. All of that is in a light brown background that curves down to include the three bits on the right. The rest of the cover is a sort of olive green and those three circles in the ellipses appear again in a larger format but the black circle at the top is the one that contains the label of the record. A border of white vinyl surrounds the all black label that simply has the band name in white all caps bold sans serif font with the song titles much smaller below that in title case. Below the small center hole, the Polyvinyl logo and "7" Singles Series No. 1" in all caps.

A promo image for the game The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, which I thought was bad. It is a drawing of the chainsaw guy and two other dudes in a Star Wars movie poster style with the farm house at the bottom and the horizon line tilted at an angle for increased scariness. It is largely sepia toned with some hints of orange as some rear lighting effects. There's also a scary, scraggly tree off the shoulder of chainsaw guy and to the right of the right dude. The right dude is holding a pointed stick and shows signs of middle-agedness. The left dude is in sort of a metal singer pose holding some kind of bracelet maybe and sporting a mustachioed Anthony Kiedis with long hair look. Chainsaw guy has the unkempt hair and creepy human skin mask and, surprise, is holding a chainsaw pointed up and to the right. The title of the game is in white in the middle of the three dudes in an all caps sans serif font (with a space in chainsaw to make it chain saw) and below that a tagline of "A game based on true events" in a light serif font and the Gun games logo.

The cover for the record "This Is Fine" by Secret Stuff, which I thought was not great. It is a blue watercolor and black ink image with three birds carrying bundles of flowers and a couple flowers appearing to fall from the sky. Each bird is in a different stage of flapping its wings, has a dark band (mask) around its eyes and many shades of blue in its wing feathers. The flowers are sort of poppyish with long stems and a few leaves attached and are being held in the birds' little feetsies. A number of leaves are also falling to the ground and there are lots of blue splatters and drips of paint, as well. The band name appears in the bottom left in a hand drawn serif all caps font and the title of the record is just below in hand drawn serif lowercase.

The arcade banner for the game Knights of the Round, which I thought was fine. It has a red background and the main image is a drawing of a knight guy, I assume Arthur, reaching for a sword stuck in a stone. Arthur has his long hair draped over a crown and a fun beard on his tiny looking face. Some chain mail and a red shirt peeks out of his suit of armor that actually looks a little too small and sort of bra-like. His hand is grasping for a golden hilted sword with a couple gems in it that is kind of glowing as it takes a nap in the rock. The Capcom logo appears right above the sword. To the left of that, the game title is in a calligraphy font that has been metalicized and outlined in white.
