Good idea. I do try such things. (I do still wear my old worn out woolies for gardening though - despite gaping madly at the elbows they're cashmere so nicer next to skin than my cheapo fleece/jackets. Or the feral neighbourhood cat gets them in his hideyholes.)

I'm afraid I can't see it in this pic... Shall I blame cataracts or can some kind person not bogged down with xmas preps tell me whereabouts to focus harder on please?
PS currently in coastal Fleggs (increasingly ie getting more coastal by the storm...) but sustaining a wildlife-friendly garden despite it being relatively small. Worried as lots of wildlife habitat locally was recently destroyed wilfully by profit-chasing new owner of nearby quiet holiday camp.
It was found this morning, somewhat camouflaged on this tray on my windowsill near the spot outdoors where I'd given him a refuge two days ago. I'd later left window ajar so it could be same guy/gal. It's not got much energy or inclination to move on this cool day.
@norfolkmoths.bsky.social this beauty or its lookalike keeps appearing indoors despite my finding a nice protective but free place for it to spend the cooler weather outdoors. What kind of place should it be ideally as I don't want it to become trapped or eaten or battered by the weather, please?
