Growing out of a thick bed of bright green moss, multiple pink and red mushrooms of different heights pop up. The two mushrooms in the center are the focus. The one on the left is shorter than the other, the top of its cap just reaching the bottom of the other's. Their stipes are a dull, dark pink and are just slightly rough in texture. The red, round caps are smooth and shiny. It is every cat’s sacred duty to be as annoying as possible while being completely endearing at the same time.

I am no expert on mushroom identification, but believe this to be a yellow oyster mushroom cluster. The cluster is tiered. The tops of the mushrooms are a golden yellow. The gills run down the cone shaped stems. They are growing on a decaying fallen tree. They are fresh and untouched. Simply beautiful!
