Voting Reform is the equivalent of voting twice for Trump.
It is an act of pure ignorance, or racism, or both.
And, as we all know, it leads nowhere good.

Please god UK. Do not let that happen. Learn from our mistakes. Learn from America’s mistakes.
Just get your shit together.

Ok I’d like to share that I have finally begin writing a #paper on our #seasonal #microbiota data. #ovary maturation & a lot of #next-gen #sequencing. It is exiting & scary & frustrating & exhilarating. I love it. Every little bit of it: I love ❤️ it. #Academicblueacky #science.

It is truly unbelievable & disheartening that after the last 10 years of local and international political discourse, people are still making their decisions this way. 🙁

When using Microsoft Word or Google Docs, don't just make text bigger and bolder to make it a heading. That will work for sighted users, but screen reader users will miss that and just hear it as normal paragraph text. Use actual heading styles, like level 1 through 6.

Vitamin A deficiency suppresses CEACAM1 to impair colonic epithelial barrier function via downregulating microbial-derived short-chain fatty acids

Vitamin A deficiency suppresses CEACAM1 to impair colonic epithelial barrier function via downregulating microbial-derived short-chain fatty acids

#VitaminADeficiency from #pregnancy reduces #SCFA-producing #GutMicrobes, lowering SCFA levels and suppressing colonic CEACAM1, impairing epithelial integrity; timely postnatal VA supplementation restores SCFAs, and protects colonic barrier function.

France passed a law requiring solar panels on every parking lot with more than 80 spaces.

Equals 10 nuclear reactors
Reduces heat island, shades cars

The US -- 800 million parking spaces. Most of them are uncovered asphalt sitting in direct sunlight.

Why aren't we doing this?

Spatial, temporal and Notch determination of terminal selector expression controls neuronal cell fate in the Drosophila optic lobe - Nature Neuroscience The authors characterized the spatial origin of Drosophila medulla neurons, completing their previous characterization of the temporal and Notch origins of these neurons and allowing them to correlate...

Félix Simon's paper is out in its final form 😍
When we got into (extreme) detail in the temporal and spatial patterning of neuroblasts, Félix asked a simple question "sure, but how does this translate into neuronal cell fate?". www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Economists Slam Reform UK's 'Fantasy' Claims That 'Boriswave' Migrants Will Cost Households £20,000 “Reform have simply invented their own numbers..." say experts

Reform and right-wing media present the party's claims – that the 'Boriswave' will cost us each £20k – as an objective fact.

I spoke to economists and experts who said the "fantasy" analysis was "wildly off".

The Brexit delusion is dead – so now Keir Starmer doesn’t need to pretend any more | Rafael Behr To rebuild relations with Europe in a dangerous world, the prime minister needs to win big arguments, not hide behind outdated red lines, says Guardian columnist Rafael Behr

Brexit is an unpopular shitshow, global politics and priorities have changed and there’s now a majority of voters who’ve been resolutely scorned since the Brexit vote.
I dunno. Maybe tap into that demographic and see how you go. Or keep losing to Reform.

Sleep alters neurovascular and hydrodynamic coupling in the human brain🏺🧪

These multimodal findings highlight a fundamental change in coupling dependent on brain state, suggesting that both neural and nonneural alteration contribute to sleep-related brain function.

The ‘Money Launderers Dream’: Who Is Really Bankrolling Nigel Farage? Why are crypto billionaires, tax-avoiding media organisations and the employees of foreign oligarchs really putting their money into Reform UK?

“Not only is Reform taking large amounts of money from an industry with a big interest in changing UK Govt policy, but that industry is also one with major links to organised crime, terrorism and foreign dictatorships.”

The corrupt stink of Reform is overwhelming.
