It's a word I made up. Ecologists study not just nature but the way things relate to each other in nature. I look at it from a meta pov- spiritually, mentally, emotionally- how does it all connect and thrive?

Does that make sense?

Since Trump has claimed Elon doesn’t run DOGE, we wanted to make sure you know who is running our government. This list has been updated with 15 names.

We've been here before. That's less comforting and more discouraging.

I wonder, do you feel less alone in your own hopelessness when I share mine with you?

Hopelessness sweeps through my home, attacking each of us in turn.

I told Kiddo not to keep it to themselves- talk about it. It's ok. We can handle it together.

But can I take my own advice? Can I talk about how it feels to be this close to homelessness, again??

What can you do?

Don’t give up hope. Dictators feed off your hopelessness.

Don’t quit. Dictators want you to give up.

Punch back. Dictators are bullies, and bullies are cowards.

Stay tethered to the truth. Dictators need you to believe their lies.

Resist. Stand with others.

I really love this design. I think it's super cute. It's also available in regular t-shirts, tanks, and sweatshirts. There are also a couple other designs.

The proceeds from these shirts will help my family move to a safer home. Find the link in my linktree.

All I can think about right now is that we will be homeless in April.

That's all I have right now- the knowledge that my family is a month and a half from homelessness.

Black excellence: Twice as qualified, half as respected, and still passed over or labeled as a ‘DEI hire.’

Black folks have always known this because we’ve seen it happen to our own family members. I know I have.

Beloveds...

We have to move in April. Whether we stay in Michigan or move to a safer state, we can't afford to move and need your help. We have to get out of the mold poisoning our bodies. And our trans kiddo needs security.

Please share our go fund me far and wide.

When Congressman John Lewis was a child, he tried to get a library card. He was turned away & told “The Library is not for coloureds” 💔

He’s a civil rights icon, lover of books, recipient of the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature.
