Heyyy, I got quoted in the write-up of results from an @ellipsus.com survey about what creative workers think of genAI.

Spoiler alert: Everyone hates it and places tremendous value on human creativity and in preserving spaces in which that creativity can flourish and be celebrated.

I wish humans were more like machines in that our bodies were easily customizable. You want a uterus? Sure, here you go. Not using your boobs? No problem, easily removed. Pointed ears? Sharp teeth? Sure! Got shitty knees? Get 'em replaced. Bad back? Tuned up in a jiff!

This is gonna sound weird, but when I was in college, I had a friend who worked at the local Dunkin'. They brought home stale donuts so I used to make bread pudding with them. The blueberry ones were the best.

The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.

Its not a hot take but man the way the word "content" is used these days. A vile bit of late stage capitalist propaganda, lumping all forms of human creativity and expression into a single wastebin teaching the public to treat all art as disposable.
