We're having a great Functional Imaging and Super-Resolution Microscopy course this year again. With engaged students learning about FRAP, FRET, STED, FLIM and many more (not necessarily 4 letter) fluorescent microscopy techniques.

But also a really nice talk by Ben Giepmans about ColorEM.

Strongest hints yet of biological activity outside the solar system - Hycean Worlds Astronomers have detected the most promising signs yet of a possible biosignature outside the solar system, although they remain cautious.

Astronomers can now detect fart from 124 lightyears away.

I have a meeting in DC in June which I normally really look forward to. While I have some obligations there and I already committed to attending, I am not at all pumped to go. However, I tell myself that by going we do at least show our support to the US science community, they could use some now.

More and more sacrifices on a bonfire of science denial. Shocking doesn't even come close.
