This is a side-profile or silhouette photograph of a tuxedo cat Sunny gazing out of a window. He is shown from the side, highlighting his silhouette and facial features like its whiskers and ears. You can point out the long, white whiskers that stand out sharply against the black fur. Sunny is fixated and intently watching his territory.
Sunny watching birds from the kitchen window, it's his daily and important nature program. 💚

“Human, you put out 4 treats—then took one OFF!”
“But Kiki, you had 4 treats…only 3 HOURS ago!”
“You’re a THIEF!”
“I put it back in the BAG!”
“You put out WET food, too—then REMOVED some!”
“The vet wants to reduce your FOOD intake, Kiki! Scout’s HONOR!”
“Ain’t no honor among THIEVES, human!”

The news is terrible so it’s time to deploy the dangle leggies. A sustained campaign of dangle leggies and some horse blinkers 👀
Four large and beautiful mushrooms, Amanita muscaria, grow in a line on sloped dark soil against a decayed and moss-covered log. These mushrooms have tall white stipes - some as tall as about 10 inches ‐ and large bright red, red and orange, or red, orange, and yellow caps. The younger ones tend to be more solid bright red, while the older ones have the yellow and orange on their caps. They also have a "skirt," which is mushroom flesh that hangs from where the stipe and cap connect and appears a bit like a thin white curtain that hangs around the top of the stipe. 📷 Canon R5 Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM M, f/2.8, 1/30, ISO 400 Stack of 9 images 11/11/24 Northern Oregon Coast
It's such an incredible experience to turn a corner on a trail and come across a vibrant family of Amanita muscaria 🤩

Artist Je Shen.
His works are characterized by a "sedimentation" of color; he does not apply it uniformly, but rather gradually deposits it with thousands of small touches, creating vibrant surfaces that call for pointillism.
